I still take on the occasional birth doula client, as this work deeply touches my heart.

I adore supporting women in this raw, primal journey. Feel free to reach out anytime to see if I have any availability to do so.

Why am I a Doula?

I have a passion for supporting and empowering expecting parents on their journey into parenthood. I aim to help facilitate the safe and satisfying birth experience you desire by providing emotional and physical support, as well as education and resources during your pregnancy, labor, and delivery.

I believe in women. I believe in their strength and power, in their inherent wisdom and deep love. It is important to me to spend my days supporting women, and facilitating beautiful environments and experiences for them and their children.  I've spent my life devoted to research and education to help myself and others reclaim their sovereignty.

My practice is all inclusive, and I aim to support and guide any intending parents on their journey, regardless of sexual orientation, gender, race, and class. Born and raised in Australia, I am now a DONA trained birth doula, practicing in the Los Angeles area.

With helping hands, and an open heart

But what is a Doula?

A birth doula accompanies women in the journey of childbirth, through prenatal support, labor and delivery , as well as postpartum support, to help facilitate a safe and satisfying birth experience for the woman and her partner.

I draw on my professional training, knowledge, experience, and intuition to provide physical (non-medical), emotional, and informational support to women and their partners  during the transition into parenthood. It is my goal to help you feel prepared and empowered for your birth experience.

I offer a soothing touch,  a calm, peaceful presence and confidence in you and your birth partner. I can make suggestions for labor progress, and help with relaxation, massage, counter-pressure, positioning, and other techniques for your comfort.

I am independent and self-employed, and as such, am working for YOU, not your caregiver or place of birth.
